The Airmar MM1-DST-14HB is a Mix and Match (M&M) transducer adapter cable. It allows boaters with standard 1kW transducers to connect directly to a Humminbird 14-pin fishfinder display without needing to replace the in-hull or transom transducer itself. 

The Airmar Mix and Match system is designed for modularity and flexibility across your marine electronics: 

• Functionality: This specific 1kW model routes Depth and Temperature (DST) data directly to the Humminbird unit.
• Modular Design: 1kW M&M transducers use a two-cable system—a base transducer with a short (2-meter) attached pigtail and a brand-specific adapter cable (8-meters in length) that ends in a 14-pin Humminbird connector.
• Upgradability: If you decide to switch fishfinder brands in the future (e.g., to Garmin or Lowrance), you can leave your transducer perfectly installed in the hull and simply replace the short instrument adapter cable
