JL Audio M6 Marine Subwoofer 10" With Gunmetal Trim Ring, Titanium Sport Grille - M6-10IB
With appropriate system setup, the addition of a subwoofer allows your smaller main speakers to be free of the burden of reproducing low frequencies. This allows your whole system to play louder and to sound cleaner at all listening levels.
Purpose-engineered and built for real marine duty, the M6 infinite-baffle woofers are designed to operate without a dedicated enclosure. Long excursion capability and rugged suspension systems help produce deep, powerful bass response that will transform your boat's audio system.
The M6-10IB is best used with amplifier power in the 75W - 250W range and is optimised to operate with a large volume of air behind it (at least 2 cu. ft. / 56. 6 l). If you need a subwoofer driver that operates in a small sealed enclosure, select our M6-10W, instead.
Like all JL Audio marine speakers, this driver is built to withstand a real saltwater marine environment and deliver years of listening enjoyment.

| Additional | The enclosure recommendations listed above are external dimensions which assume the use of 19 mm (0.75") thick material. If you are using 16 mm (0.625") thick material, subtract 6.5 mm (0.25") from each dimension. Do not use any material with a thickness of less than 16 mm (0.625") as this may compromise the rigidity of the enclosure. All enclosure volumes listed above are net internal volumes. Driver displacement, port displacement and brace displacement must be added to obtain the final gross internal volume. All enclosure dimensions above have already taken this into account. When using multiples in a common enclosure you will need to recalculate the enclosure and port dimensions. For assistance please contact your authorised JL Audio dealer or JL Audio Technical Support. We recommend the use of this in a bi-amplified system using high-quality satellites and a high-quality amplifier.
